2 – General notes and compulsory information
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.
We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by email) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Note on the responsible body
The person responsible for data processing on this website is
CargoLine GmbH & Co. KG
Lyoner Str. 15
phone +49 69 951550-0

Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke a previously granted consent at any time. For this purpose an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority
In the event of violations of data protection law, the person concerned has a right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority. The competent supervisory authority in matters of data protection law is the State Data Protection Commissioner of the federal state in which our company is based. You have the right to have data, which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract, handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible person, this will only take place as far as it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If the SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to obtain information free of charge at any time about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correct, block or delete this data. 4 – Data collection on our website
The Internet pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you disable cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Cookies, which are necessary for the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions you require (e.g. shopping basket function), are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of his services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your user behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
– Error log
– Access log
– SSl access log
All three logs contain the IP address, are stored for 28 days and then automatically deleted. These data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently check this data if we become aware of concrete indications of illegal use.
Consent management by Borlabs
We use the consent management tool Borlabs to obtain and record any necessary consent from users of our website, for example for analytics activities on our website
The following data are processed:
1.1. consent data (so-called content data, namely anonymised logbook data, content ID, processor ID, controller ID, content status, timestamp)
1.2 Data of the devices used (so-called device data, including abbreviated IP addresses, device information, timestamp)
1.3 User data (so-called user data, including e-mail, ID, browser information, setting IDs, change log)
The content data is stored in the local memory of the browser of the visitor to our website and simultaneously on the cloud servers used. Further processing only takes place if the user makes a request for information or revokes his consent. In this case, the responsible party (in this case CargoLine) is provided with the relevant information in a compact data format in an easily readable text form for the purpose of data exchange.
2. purpose of data processing
The purpose of data processing is to analyse and manage the consents granted in order to comply with our obligation to manage consents in accordance with the German Data Protection Act. The use of Usercentrics serves the purpose of proving that consents have been granted and not granted, as well as managing them. These purposes also include our legitimate interest in data processing in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter f DSGVO.
3 Legal basis of data processing
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6(1)(c) and Art. 6(1)(f).
4. duration of storage
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed. The associated cookie has a term of 60 days. The storage is based on our accountability in accordance with Art. 5 Para. 2 DSGVO. This obliges us to comply with the processing of personal data in accordance with the basic data protection regulation. The proof of revocation of a previously granted consent is kept in accordance with § 195 BGB. Claims against us are subject to the regular statute of limitations according to § 195 BGB. This limitation period begins at the end of the year in which the claim arose (§ 199 BGB). Consequently, the three-year period of limitation begins at the end of 31.12. of the year in which you have revoked your consent and ends three years later on 31.12., 24.00 hours
5. possibility of opposition and removal
The function can be turned on and off in “Individual Privacy Settings” by selecting the check box.
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is thus exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the time of revocation shall remain unaffected by the revocation.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage or the purpose for which the data was stored no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
5 – Analysis tools and advertising
On our website we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Ireland Limited (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; hereinafter “Google”). In this context, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies (see item “Cookies”) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website such as
- Browser type/version,
- operating system used,
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
- Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
- Time of the server request,
are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services associated with the use of the website and the Internet for the purposes of market research and the design of these Internet pages in line with requirements. This information may also be transferred to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are made anonymous, so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).
These processing operations will only be carried out if you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letter a DS-GVO.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially in the case of browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on the following link: Deactivate Google Analytics. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.
Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found, for example, in the Google Analytics help (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de).
6 – Plugins and tools
This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
To use the functions of Google Maps it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers and easy findability of the places we have indicated on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
7 – Our social media presence
Data processing through social networks
We maintain publicly accessible profiles in social networks. The social networks we use in detail can be found below.
Social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc. can usually analyse your user behaviour comprehensively when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. like buttons or advertising banners). Visiting our social media sites triggers numerous data protection-relevant processing operations. In detail:
If you are logged in to your social media account and visit our social media presence, the operator of the social media portal can assign this visit to your user account. Your personal data may also be collected even if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media portal. In this case, this data is collected, for example, via cookies that are stored on your end device or by recording your IP address.
With the help of the data collected in this way, the operators of social media portals can create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. In this way, interest-based advertising can be displayed both inside and outside the respective social media presence. If you have an account with the relevant social network, the interest-based advertisement can be displayed on all devices on which you are or were logged in.
Our social media appearances are designed to ensure the most comprehensive presence possible on the Internet. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 letter f DSGVO. The analysis processes initiated by the social networks may be based on different legal bases, which must be specified by the social network operators (e.g. consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).
Responsibility and assertion of rights
If you visit one of our social media sites (e.g. Facebook), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. In principle, you can assert your rights (information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data transferability and complaint) both against us and against the operator of the respective social media portal (e.g. Facebook).
Please note that despite the joint responsibility with the social media portal operators, we do not have full influence on the data processing procedures of the social media portals. Our possibilities depend largely on the corporate policy of the respective provider.
The data collected directly by us via the social media presence will be deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for storing them no longer applies, you request us to delete them, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your end device until you delete them. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
