TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION, DATA PRIVACY

Terms and Conditions of Participation in the CargoLine Competition for the Latest Reader Survey

The competition starts with the delivery of our customer magazine CargoTime in week 16 and finishes on 15 June 2018 at 24:00 hrs.

Participants may take part in the survey without the competition, but cannot take part in the competition without the survey. Any personal data gathered when someone participates in the competition will be stored separately from the results of the reader survey. Participation in the competition is free and independent of the purchase of goods and services from CargoLine GmbH & Co. KG.

The reader survey is enclosed with the CargoTime magazine. The costs involved in submitting the completed survey shall be borne by the player, whether submission is by surface mail, fax or email.

Persons under 18 years are excluded from the prize draw. After the determination of winners through the prize draw, CargoLine reserves the right to hold a renewed prize draw under the following conditions:

If a player has specified incorrect or incomplete contact details
If a player has made multiple entries, including entries under different names
If a player turns out to be below the age limit
If other conditions for redeeming the prize are not met, e.g. if the prize is not available in the relevant place

The player provides CargoLine with their contact details for the purpose of a prize draw and the potential distribution of prizes, i.e. either sending or handing over the prize. Data are never used for commercial or any other purposes and are subject to statutory provisions on data protection.

By taking part in the competition, the player agrees to the use and storage of their personal data to the extent described above and within the parameters of data protection regulations.

In this instance, the winning prizes, distributed among players by lot, are a premium ball-shaped gas barbecue grill from Outdoorchef worth EUR 754, a suckling pig worth approx. EUR 200 and a drinks shop voucher worth EUR 100. Once a winner has been drawn, this person does not participate in any further draws, so that each player can receive no more than one prize.

The winners will be notified in writing. CargoLine GmbH & Co. KG is permitted to publish a winner on its website, www.cargoline.de, and/or in its customer magazine CargoTime, specifying the winner’s full first name, the initial letter of their surname and their place of residence. By participating in the competition, each player automatically agrees to such publication.

Players have the option of objecting to their data being used and stored for the purpose of the competition. This must be done in writing and can be effected by surface mail (CargoLine GmbH & Co. KG, Lyoner Str. 15, 60528 Frankfurt, Germany), by fax (+49 69 951550-30) or by email (info@cargoline.de).

It is not possible to receive a prize in cash, to collect it in person or to transfer it to a third party. The winner shall receive and use the prize at their own risk.

CargoLine GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right to terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons, particularly if proper execution cannot be guaranteed for technical, legal or geographical reasons.

The judges’ decision is final.

The competition is exclusively subject to German law.
