CargoLine drives with (a bear's) heart
When a local radio station reported about the charitable foundation "Bärenherz" (a bear's heart) and the sad fate of the children they care for in 2006, the staff at CargoLine spontaneously decided to donate the contents of their office kitty.
The logistics service provider provided more assistance in May 2007 – this time with a donation of 16,000 euros. The money was raised through the auction of two swap bodies among the 45 domestic partners of the alliance. The auction was supported by the manufacturer Bernard Krone GmbH (Werlte) and its systems partner Brüggen Oberflächen- und Systemlieferant GmbH (Herzlake) as well as by TIP Services GmbH Deutschland (Hamburg), operator of the CargoLine pool of swap bodies. TIP later also donated 9,000 euros, the rent paid by the CargoLiner partners for the second swap body.
Since then, Bärenherz has always been part of CargoLine’s social commitment. Only in February, the network donated 1,030 euros.
